Lefty Frizzell - I Love You A Thousand Ways
Give or take a few.
John C. Reilly & Becky Stark - I’ll Be There If You Ever Want
Produced by Jack White. A fine Ray Price cover. BTW, I feel like I’m always behind the curve these days. My sister(!) had to tell me that this was a thing.
Andy Vaughan & The Driveline - This Ain’t No Sad Song
Andy Vaughan and the Driveline are a Richmond, VA based band making real country music with that honky tonk sound. I met Andy while I was going to grad school in down there and he was fronting a band called Hamburger James. He put The Driveline together a little after I left. They released their first album, Long Gone, back in June and are already set to record their 2nd album.
Give this song a listen, if you like it, the whole thing’s on Spotify and if you like that, they’re 16 days out from their Kickstarter campaign to fund album #2. Help keep real country music alive and throw ‘em a couple bucks (or more if you see fit).
As always, thanks a bunch.
BR5-49 - Little Ramona (Gone Hillbilly Nuts)
All you Little Ramona’s out there raise your hands.
Ray Price - Bright Lights and Blonde Haired Women
