Friends, the Ameripolitan Music Award nomination process ends today (Friday 9/22) and I’m submitting my name in the DJ category. If you can spare a minute, send an email to nominations@ameripolitan.com that says Ameripolitan DJ: Don Sticksel, Both Kinds of Music KCHUNG Radio 1630 AM, Los Angeles.
If you don’t know what Ameripolitan is, it’s kind of like the country underground. Where honky tonk, rockabilly, western swing and outlaw music all intersect. Along with classic country, it’s what I play on my radio show.
Should you want to nominate others, I’ve included who I have on my ballot and a Spotify playlist I put together so you can hear whether you like any of them.
