I just read a story about Jimmy from Peter Cooper’s book, Johnny’s Cash and Charley’s Pride, where he used to go on the Opry and introduce “May the Bird of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose” by saying, “Here’s my latest hit. It’s from 1965.”
