Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

 

A rare Monday night out took me to the Rock Shop in Brooklyn to see the Gowanus All-Stars. Like the bill says, country-rock and cosmic american music - heard some Gram Parsons, Tom T. Hall (which was totally weird because that’s was the exact guy in my head at that moment), Guy Clark and unexpected stuff like James Taylor, which was actually made listenable, and countrified Alice Cooper. The pedal steel player was really good - enough to dredge up the old “I need to get one of those and learn to play it” feelings. All around good time. Will see again.
