You know, Country & Western!

This ain't your Dad's country music. It's your Granddad's! None of that new Nashville bullshit either. This is where you'll find what I consider the best in Country (Classic and Alt), Folk, and Americana.

Driving down 35, I saw a sign for Clear Lake and immediately thought Buddy Holly. In all the years of living in MN, I never went down there (because who wants to go to Iowa). We made a detour to see the crash site in the middle of a farm field - a half mile off a dirt road.

Note: if you’re gonna leave something at a memorial, at least leave something cool.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the legendary Deke Dickerson is on Tumblr.

Musician, producer, collector, host of his annual Guitar Geek Festival, keeper of knowledge and a huge influence on me from all those shows I’ve seen him play over the years at Lee’s Liquor Lounge before I bailed out of MN.
