You know, Country & Western!
This ain't your Dad's country music. It's your Granddad's! None of that new Nashville bullshit either. This is where you'll find what I consider the best in Country (Classic and Alt), Folk, and Americana.

I Love: Tom T. Hall’s Songs of Fox Hollow (by redbeetrecords)
Releasing May 23, 2011. Music for kids of all ages. Just in time for Tom T. Hall’s 75th birthday, producers Peter Cooper & Eric Brace have created a gem of Americana music by recording the songs on Tom. T’s great 1974 album, Songs of Fox Hollow. They gathered the perfect cast at Tom T.’s Fox Hollow farm last summer: Patty Griffin, Buddy Miller, Bobby Bare, Duane Eddy, Jim Lauderdale, Peter Cooper, Eric Brace & Last Train Home, Elizabeth Cook & Tim Carroll, Gary Bennett, Jon Byrd, Mark & Mike, Tommy Cash, Fayssoux Starling McLean, and even Tom T. Hall, who sang on a new song he wrote for the occasion with wife Dixie Hall. A co-release of East Nashville indie label Red Beet Records and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s CMF Records.
