Hank Williams was buried today on 1/4/53.
His funeral drew more than 20,000 people in Montgomery, Alabama. A country choir led by Roy Acuff, Bill Monroe, Webb Pierce, Red Foley, Little Jimmy Dickens and Carl Smith performed “I Saw The Light.” as heard in this clip.
